Edible castor oil

Status : Available

Pure edible castor oil is obtained by pressing castor seeds.
Castor oil is a pale yellow vegetable oil and is produced by crushing the seeds of the castor plant. Many of the properties of castor oil are due to its chemical composition. Castor oil is a special type of triglyceride fatty acid, and almost 90% of its fatty acid is ricinoleic acid, which is an unsaturated omega-9 fatty acid.
Castor oil is traditionally used to treat various skin diseases and infections, reduce constipation and increase hair health. However, recent studies have shown that castor oil is used to support the immune system and act as an anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and lymphatic stimulant.
Edible castor oil, 40 ml of Mehdaro, is used as a laxative, especially for emptying the intestines before examining the colon (large intestine) and performing X-rays of the digestive system. It is also used as a laxative in the treatment of acute constipation.
