Castor oil has many uses in medicine and therapy, as well as various other uses. The alcoholic extract of castor leaves has shown on laboratory mice that it protects the liver against damage from toxins. One of the medicinal uses of castor oil is to use it as a laxative, castor oil is a natural and strong laxative. Methanolic extracts of the leaves were tested in the antimicrobial test against pathogenic bacteria in mice and the mice showed antimicrobial properties. It should be noted that the extracts are not poisonous. Castor bean-shaped kernel shell has an effect on the central nervous system in lower doses. At higher doses, the mice died quickly. Castor root bark extract shows pain symptoms in mice. Anti-allergic or anti-histaminic and anti-inflammatory properties have also been seen in the alcoholic extract of castor bark.
